Welcome to ZUUUM.  We offer information, skills development and great days cycling at our ZUUUM Club Cycling Clinics and Meets.

Designed for cycling enthusiasts that want more, ZUUUM brings tips and techniques from great coaches so you have more fun in the sport you love.

And when you're ready to ride in a ZUUUM Meet, you'll experience cycling like you never have before.

ZUUUM CYCLING CLINICS

Some riders have great knowledge on doing nearly everything on their road bike.  For the rest of us ZUUUM Cycling Clinics share information and techniques to help you get more out of your cycling.

 

Basic Information... what is power and why will it change your cycling?

Skills... how do I approach a corner, ride in a group and handle hills?

Techniques... how can I stay smooth, go faster and turn confidently?

ZUUUM Clinics are run by top coaches who share years of experience to help you get great insights that make you better quickly.
 

Come to a ZUUUM Clinic.  We'll lend you a power meter if you need one.  Learn about power.  Get instruction from top coaches.  Get grouped and add to your cycling.  We guarantee you will love attending a ZUUUM Clinic.  

ZUUUM clinics showcase information sharing, skills development, the use of a power meter and riding more confidently on "safe-from traffic" protected asphalt courses.

TYPICAL AGENDA

Power Clinic  

Early Bird Question & Answer - 10 AM

  • Attendees without power meter will have received a loaner power meter in the mail.
  • This is a check to see your power meter is working correctly.
  • "Is my power meter set up correctly?"
  • "Did I calibrate the power meter the right way?"
  • Other 'need to knows' and answers to questions.
  • Hydration / ice / power snacks provided.

Bike Fit Discussion - 11:30 AM

  • Hear how a coach positions cyclists on a bike. 
  • See the changes needed to have the best riding position.
  • Feel better and know how to sit to find more power.

Power Overview and Discussion - 12 PM

  • How power helps you.  The basics for clinic day.  
  • I've never used power, what do I need to look at on the course?
  • Food for thought... how to use power to be a better cyclist through the season.

Finding Your Power - 20 Minutes of Solid Riding - 1 PM

  • After 20 minutes of warm-up, cyclists perform a 20 minute power test...
  • 10 minutes cool down
  • Time trial power number comments
  • Grouping into orange, black and white groups

Team Events - 2 PM

  • Team Event I - 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM
  • Team Event II - 2:25 PM to 2:40 PM
  • Team event power data comments
  • Hydration / ice / power snacks provided

Individual Events - 3 PM

  • Event I - 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM
  • Event II - 3:25 PM to 3:40 PM
  • Individual riding power data comments
  • Hydration / ice / power snacks provided

Championship Event & Awards - 4 PM

  • Final Clinic Event "The Championship" 
  • Awards

  • Power Meter Loaner Turn-in

Attendance entitles you to a post race "Show Me How to Use My Power Data" webinar.

Yes, your power data from the clinic, time trial and events will be yours to have for the webinar and you will be advised by former pro and leading power coach Hunter Allen on how your data can help you. 

Power meter loaners are provided for the day.
